Out of the tracks you posted recently, this one made me feel the most emotion; something about the airy sounds and very homely instruments create such a nostalgic vibe

tbf these are all just little shitposts moreorless LMAO
Holy crap, I'm blown away by the atmosphere this creates! Really reminds me of artists like M2U and Sakuzyo, really the whole Artcore scene. Even more impressive that you slam dunked it without much music theory
I appreciate it! I would really love to do music like M2U one day, Huge inspiration for me.
i got chills. CHILLS.
its a bit distorted sometimes, but i think it actually adds to the power behind the piece
and that ending piano is just perfect
it kinda reminds me of "Google Your Own Death"
dude it's so cool to hear from you again!!
yeah honestly you don't understand how much trouble the master was giving me so I just left the distortion after like 8 master attempts
thank you! i quite like the end piano :)))
I see potential here, but for now here are my thoughts on where you can improve:
The beginning started with the cymbals too loud, overshadowing the main melody.
Speaking of the melody, it's too bland. It is only one phrase being played repeatedly with barely any changes.
Not only that, the part between 0:16 and 0:31, the melody there feels too muddy since notes close in pitch try to fight each other, resulting in an unpleasant tone. If you wanted to add more energy in that part, you could add another melody in the background using a different synth or instrument.
I do like the drum kick used. Very punchy and really brings out the rhythm.
Also nice use of sidechain compression.
Overall, It has some pretty good technical aspects, but the musical aspect itself could use some work. I wish you good luck in your musical journey.
Thanks for the help! Some time later i'll be uploading other songs and I look forward on your feedback!
